Full Service Network
- The FSN system provides real-time video on demand using MEPG-2 over
an ATM/ ADSL infrastucture, while simultaneously providing high-speed
Internet access.
- The Ardit team designed and built the ATM/ADSL DSLAM, the ATM/ADSL
Set Top Box unit and the service delivery software comprising of Level
1 and Level 2 gateways. The service delivery architecture was modeled
based on DAVIC recommendations.
- These components were designed and prototyped in our US and India
facilities, and were then integrated with Fujitsu’s Fetex ATM
switch and ATM/MPEG-2 Video Server in their facility in Japan.
- The system successfully went through trials in China telecom facilities
in Fuzhou, Suzhou and Beijing. The Ardit team supported the system through
the integration phase and the trial phase.
